WAKE UP and Create Something

Hi Everyone,  Ann Here.

Below is an article from one of my favorite teachers from the movie “The Secret,” Bob Doyle. I have learned so much from his Internet marketing programs and other audio teachings I wanted to share some of his info with you.

WAKE UP and Create Something – by Bob Doyle

It’s time for the “mainstream” to WAKE UP. The alarm clock is ringing, they keep hitting snooze, and in the meantime, the life they could be living is passing them by.

Day after day, millions of people go through their lives wishing and hoping and dreaming that things could be better, with absolutely no knowledge that it is they themselves that perpetuate their own dissatisfaction.

It is not the “gifted few” who create their realities. It’s not just for those in the metaphysical community. It is all of us. Every single one. However, there are a few who have awakened to this knowledge, and make creating their reality a daily event…manifesting whatever it is they want in their life with seemingly no effort!

Meanwhile the rest of the world looks on in wonder and disbelief. They assume that these “fortunate few” are among the cosmically lucky.

Stop and Hear the Music-youtube video

Washington, DC Metro Station on a cold January morning in 2007. The man with a violin played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes.. During that time approx. 2 thousand people went through the station, most of them on their way to work. After 3 minutes a middle aged man noticed there was a musician playing. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds and then hurried to meet his schedule.

4 minutes later:

the violinist received his first dollar: a woman threw the money in the hat and, without stopping, continued to walk..

6 minutes:

A young man leaned against the wall to listen to him, then looked at his watch and started to walk again.

10 minutes:

A 3-year old boy stopped but his mother tugged him along hurriedly. The kid stopped to look at the violinist again, but the mother pushed hard and the child continued to walk, turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by several other children. Every parent, without exception, forced their children to move on quickly.

Create Passive Income Streams Online

The news about the economy isn’t encouraging these days, and it looks as if the recession isn’t going away anytime soon. Rather than sinking in the dooms day, you can turn your personal finances around and generate extra income by creating passive income streams.

What is passive income and how can you create it?

There are two types of passive income: residual and leveraged. Both types become passive after some initial work, meaning once you’ve set up the income stream, it continues to bring you money without you having to spend all your time working for it.

Residual Income

Residual income is money made over a period of time, such as:

* Rent from property you own
* Commission from a client who renews an account on a yearly basis
* Selling a book or video to accompany a class you teach
* Creating a e-books or online products and selling it online via your blog
* Making photos available as a stock image for various companies
* Owning a business and hiring someone trustworthy to run it for you

How to Seek out a Mentor

Before deciding to seek out a mentor, you must first determine what you hope to gain from the relationship. That means you need to spend time thinking about both your short and long term goals. Once you’re fully clear on where you want to be, the selection process becomes that much easier.

When people think about mentors, they often visualize a classic business setting, where everything is formal and methodical, but mentoring relationships are not limited to business. The truth is, you may want a mentor for any number of reasons.

Consider these types of mentors:

* Life Guidance. These life mentors are often referred to as “life coaches.”
* Spiritual Advisors. You can look to a priest, pastor, or friend to mentor you spiritually.
* Everyday Mentors. Sometimes we even have unofficial mentors who are simply people we admire in our community or peer group.

Choosing a Mentor

When looking for a mentor, seek someone who has the qualities, skills, and experiences you hope to one day have yourself. A mentor should be someone who fits your idea of success, has a positive attitude, and openly shares his or her knowledge with you.
