This is my first post to my blog. Hard to believe I’ve been online researching for almost a year now learning all I can about selling products online.  No doubt I have lots of knowledge about online marketing. Many newbie online marketers suffer from staying in a stage of analysis paralysis for too long. You can never have all the information that you need to start a project. At some point you need to just jump in and start doing it.  Some things can only be learned by doing and by trial and error. Have you ever tried to learn how to play golf from a book? How about reading about how to dance? Internet Marketing is much the same. You can’t imagine every situation that will present itself. You need to get started and learn along the way.

Also if this is your first step out of the cubicle cage, you can also learn a whole lot about your own strengths and weaknesses as a newbie entreprenuer. For me, I discovered that time freedom was both good and bad. If you have lots of time it can be wasted and not productive. Also, I liked working alone, but  wanted a support group and classes so I wasn’t out here trying to figure things out on my own. After several months online I had a lot of unorganized knowledge and knew that I needed a coach to take me by the hand and guide me step by step to help me see results.

This is when I discovered John Thornhill’s Marketing Masterclass. I had been trying all sorts of things online which of course included selling on eBay. Somehow I stumbled upon information about John Thornhill. As you might have guessed, being the research hound that I am, I looked up his blog and his products and saw his extremely high eBay Powerseller feedback score and decided this is the guy I want to work with.  John was successfully doing what I wanted to do. Even though he lives in the UK, it doesn’t matter when you do everything online. With internet technology and new online software, you can easily take video classes and get email support and even call if you need to. I am only a few weeks into the  course and I am confident that this is the best business decision I have made all year. I have made more progress online in 3 weeks than I have made in almost a year. I have so much new knowledge that I am now putting to use. That’s the key, ‘putting the knowledge to use’.  John is the real deal, he sincerely wants to help people.
