I’m a solo entrepreneur but that doesn’t mean that I want to work alone. Any business is about interacting with other people.  It’s helpful to get out and interact with like minded people who are studying similar subjects or doing what you would like to do. I’m a member of a Mastermind Group that meets once a week. We are currently studying “Think and Grow Rich”. Getting out and meeting in a group to share ideas and talking about this material is so much more effective than reading or studying this book on my own. In the class we share our own personal stories and experiences and support each other in our goals. It is so important to share your goals with people who will support you. Have you ever told someone your deepest desires or goals only to have them tell you you’re crazy or you will never have what you want? I think we’ve all experienced this and it’s so sad because sometimes friends or family will unknowingly  say something that puts a negative thought in our mind about something we want to do.

As solo entrepreneurs it’s important to seek out groups online or in your community who can support you in your goals, share ideas and gain new insights. Especially at this time of so much negative news media and people focusing on a ‘bad’ economy. This is the time for people who share goals of success to gather together. There can be strength in numbers with like minded people who choose to focus on solutions, new ideas and creating new business partnerships. There are new opportunities out there today more than ever. In  times like this, high achievers will stand out and take steps that others only fear. There is less competition now because those who bought into fear have chosen to stand still and play it “safe”.

If you are spending too much time working alone or too much time around negative people; seek out a Mastermind group or Law of Attraction group to keep you focused on your goals.
