I attended the Wealthy Warrior seminar presented by T. Harv Eker; held in Phoenix, Arizona,  March 30, 2009. I am sharing with you a few of my notes.
I found his information to be an excellent perspective on how to succeed at this time in our economy.

What is a Warrior? One who conquers. Wealthy Warrior is one who conquers oneself. Money is a result of how we think. What we think about expands in our lives, like attracts like. What are we focusing on? Do we watch the news like CNN (Constantly Negative News?) Are you focusing on negatives in your life? Or are you creating ‘your own economy?’ Don’t give up on your dreams right now.

Words about the USA Economy
There is a general economy and my economy. Economic trends have always gone up and down. This is a fact throughout history. Warren Buffet says that he has been waiting for this day for 10 years.
This economy had to happen. Gas, food and housing were selling for stupidly high prices. People were spending 80% of their income on basic needs. Thank goodness that all changed.

Three rules to remember:
1.    Be realistically optimistic. Have a hopeful and positive view. Think of the best possible solution to a problem. Do what helps you to succeed.
2.    Remember that AFTER a problem, always comes NO PROBLEM. Everything is perspective.
3.    Great Rule: All pain comes from resistance to what is!

The Wealthy Warrior utilizes ‘what is.’ Everything happens for a reason, and that reason is here to serve me. It’s not what happens, but how we respond to what happens that determines our results.

You have a choice about how you think and what you do. Choices become habits. Stop talking about not having money. Start investing with what you have right now. It’s the habit that’s important.

Are you aggressively promoting your business? In this economy you need to work harder. Focus on opportunities not obstacles. Take advantage of the new opportunities that exist now because of this economy. Form alliances with people. A successful person solves problems for people for a profit. There are more problems today, therefore more opportunities. The media will tell you that no one has any money.

Develop a clear strategy, a personal strategy. What should I do? What do you know? What are you willing to learn? Every master was once a disaster. Learn a few principles today, and you will never have to work again. What is your intention?

Think of these options:
1.    Worrier-Like a bear who hibernates
2.    Watcher-Lives in your comfort zone
3.    Warrior-Attacks, action mode, no fears or worries, takes risks
4.   Wealthy Warrior-Intelligent attack, choose your battles wisely, takes advantage of timing, invests in education.

Use intelligence, not emotion in making decisions. Never bet the farm on any one thing. Work with people who are making money. Learn from the masters. Decide on your strategy and be the one who makes it through.
See yourself 5 years from now. You will look back and ask yourself, what did I do during this time? Get out and stretch for the golden ring. This is the greatest time in your life for wealth, complete what you start.

Do whatever it takes, 100% commitment. Devote yourself to the plan no matter what. Failure is not an option. Either make excuses or results, never both. If you aren’t doing well financially, no one cares about your story. Don’t talk about your problems. Learn what to do to correct them. All anyone cares about is your success. If you are willing to do what’s hard, then life will be easy.
